Best Business Hotel in Misamis Occidental – AYA Hotel & Residences

Make Aya Hotel & Residences your accommodation of choice while exploring the wonders of Misamis Occidental Province. Conveniently located at the municipality of Clarin, likely, strategically at the crossroads of the province’s economic progresses. During our Laag Laag sa MisOcc event, we are billeted for two nights in this pristine and brand new 8-story hotel building. We are lucky to be one of its early guests and we are able to enjoy its modern yet homey ambience, truly, exuding feelings of warm embrace and utmost hospitality.

Soon as we stepped into their spacious and high-ceilinged lobby and reception hall, we are greeted by the splendid chandelier adorned with leaf-shaped accents of fall colours high above our foreheads. The Lobby has two main glass doors which enable the hotel to manage big groups effectively. Get to enjoy caffeine kicks at the in-house Working Coffee Cafe that serves a variety of coffee, tea, lemonades and your favourite Milktea Bobas that would truly kick start your day of adventure in Misamis Occidental. Also, Heed your sweet tooth cravings with their delectable baked delights and their mouthwatering blueberry cheesecake.

Aya Hotel & Residences also features twin spacious elevators serving all of its working floors – so you would need to cram or have a long wait before you would finally arrive at your room of choice. The lobby also features floral arrangements and a unique and catchy diorama-like frigate made of recycled steel materials.

Being assigned to their Superior Twin Room, I and Manila-based blogger Leo and get to enjoy separate single beds with great back support, a huge flat-screen smart TV, coffee and tea facility that we used when we woke up from good sleep and enjoyed our chilled drinking water from the personal refrigerator. The roomy toilet and bath feature a huge vanity mirror and a spacious lavatory with toiletries for two guests. Importantly, they have the most coveted bidet, the most loved and revered accommodation feature by Pinoy guests. Before we hit the sack, we just enjoyed one of the best showers we have during the 5-day excursion in Misamis Occidental, thanks to the warm rain shower, our tiredness cascaded down along with the soothing streams of therapeutic and tepid sprays.

As a content creator, our day will be capped by reviewing our documented materials, and we are elated that their rooms are equipped with broad working desks with enough space for our gadgetries. There are many power outlets too, so no need to contend for one. Be prepared for the next day’s activity with all of your portable electronics fully charged – just do not forget enough memory cards.

Another memorable moment we had at Aya Hotel & Residences is the lovely seafood dinner where we get to enjoy exquisite deep sea finds and my newfound favourite shellfish. We devoured these appetizing pieces at their charming open-air roof deck adorned with turf zone and lovely flora. Once at the rails, get to have the unprecedented panoramic view of downtown Clarin and the slender Panguil Bay.

Other room options are Superior Double, Deluxe Queen, Deluxe Double, Junior Suite and their One Bedroom Suite.

Other amenities that you get to enjoy are its free parking, in-room services, airport shuttle services, fast Wifi connection and 24-hour security.

Our heartfelt thanks to Ms. Kharla Luneta for the welcome and hospitality.
