Health experts and vaccine advocates met at Orchids Garden for the 26th Philippine Immunization Conference, rallying around one clear message: vaccines work, and they save lives.
This year’s theme, “Advancing Access to Novel Vaccines for a Healthier Philippines,” highlighted the country’s growing effort to make new and better vaccines available to everyone. Talks centered on how to reach more communities, strengthen public trust, and fix gaps in the healthcare system.

Dr. Ma. Rose Capeding, Dr. Josefina Cruz, and Dr. Lulu Bravo from the Philippine Foundation for Vaccination (PFV) led the conversations. They emphasized that progress depends on collaboration—government support, medical guidance, and local participation all play a role.
Organized by PFV and Takeda Healthcare Philippines, the event underscored a shared goal: giving Filipinos equal access to vaccines that can protect families from emerging diseases and keep the nation healthier for years to come.
