Rotary Club of Balibago Kicks Off Community Projects With Sto. Domingo Student Beneficiaries

Angeles City – The Rotary Club of Balibago officially launched its community outreach for the Rotary Year 2025–2026 with the district-wide event “Handog ng D3790 sa Kabataan,” held on July 1 at Sto. Domingo Integrated School. The kick-off celebration focused on uplifting the youth, with Grade 3 students as the special student beneficiaries.

Newly elected Club President Rhea Anicoche Tan of Beautéderm Corporation and Contribeaut Inc. (Beautéderm Corporate Foundation) led the initiative, highlighting the significance of honoring one’s roots and dreaming big in her welcome address. She emphasized that this event was part of a simultaneous launch of similar projects across various Rotary districts.

One of the highlights of the day was the “FaiREIgod Mother” segment, where President Tan chose five wishes from students and granted them on the spot, drawing smiles and wide-eyed wonder from the young participants.

Special recognition was given to Mr. Patrick Academia, Vice Principal; Mr. Alan Tranquina, Principal; and the dedicated Grade 3 teachers for their support and warm welcome.

The crowd was also treated to a surprise appearance by television stars Miguel Tanfelix of Batang Riles and Ysabel Ortega of Voltes V: Legacy. Their presence sent excited shrills through the crowd, capping off a day full of joy and inspiration for the children.

It was an inspiring day full of joy and gratitude at Sto. Domingo Integrated School, definitely.
