Studded in immaculate classic white across all resort buildings, your premium staycation begins soon as you step in their multifunctional reception and front office hall. With premium hotel-like amenities such as convenience store, bar, clothing shop and tropical style furnishings that seamlessly complement the resort ensemble, you would instantly feel and experience the relaxing atmosphere and the warm hospitality imbibed in every service they provide.

RESORT AMENITIES

Located above the Reception cum Lobby Area is their Fully Air-Conditioned Events Hall with dedicated sound system, a stage setup and seating configuration at the preference of the event organizer.

Noticeable upon your ingress is their inviting art deco Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi, which I think is their top and most favorite amenity by the guests. It boasts one of the clearest and cleanest freshwater swimming pool featuring water slides for the Kiddie Pool and Streams of Water from the Merlion replica and from the dolphin sculptures. The Kiddie Pool also has installed railings for safety of your kids and young ones. They have Sun Beds with corresponding side tables installed beside the pool area for your lounging needs. There is a dedicated pool bar as well, should a pool party calls for it. The mixologists would truly enjoy concocting since the bar is placed on a dugout platform to level with the guests in the pool. At night, the swimming pool becomes more inviting as it glows with different color tones, thanks to the installed safe underwater lighting system. The water temperature is also on a constant temperature, and did not experience any chills or shivering on the many occasion I waded its ultra clear waters.

Adding up to its premium resort feature is the Turf Covered Spacious Hallway and Common Area between the two large accommodation buildings, complete with lounge chairs, table tennis equipment and an outdoor swing chair. The turf feels nice and comfortable against the pads of my bare feet, but of course, it is still recommended to wear footwear while sauntering on this zone.

As of writing, the beach resort runs with 10 well appointed rooms. They have air-conditioned suite rooms and a fan room that you can choose based on your budget. They have large and small native huts for your day activities, and the more economical outdoor tables for tight budget guests. To cater their day guests, they have dedicated clean common restrooms and shower rooms for their use.

The resort has a secured parking area adjacent to the main entrance of the beach resort.

OUR STAY EXPERIENCE

Upon our arrival, we are welcomed by their core team led by the owner, Ms. Chona, in full genuine smiles and warm expressions. I am astounded with the Welcome Poster plastered with our Blog Domains, I am so touched with this gesture. I cannot help but really feel welcomed and humbled with their warm disposition and hospitality. After we checked in with our assigned rooms, we are treated with sumptuous dinner awaiting us in their restaurant-cafe. With superior plating setup and exceptional dishes, we experienced a different level of culinary journey, especially they served their local delicacy, the SINANTOL, by their in-house chef, prepared with nothing but prime and fresh seafood ingredients. We are lucky that the owners joined us in meals and exchanged more than pleasantries, but stories on how they pursued their goals and vision. It is exciting for the locals of General Nakar and its inbound guests to learn about the expansion plans of the couple owners for their beach resort. Their goal is to level up the premium services and experience of their valued guests in their stay and culinary journey while at Mondy & Goldy’s Beach Resort.

ROOM CHECK IN

We stayed on the Gold Room (Php8,000 per night) for 3 nights. Our assigned room features a spacious fully air-conditioned unit with two cozy bunk beds with foam mattress of good back support. They have our individual comfy terry cloth blanket and soft bath towels ready on each bed with guest kit containing toothbrush, a sachet of shampoo and mini tube of toothpaste. There is a plush sofa bed with 3 throw pillows and a decorated coffee table. It has a separate mini dining table and chair setup with electric kettle. It also has a dedicated shoe rack beside the door to where we organized our shoes and other footwear. The private restroom features a working exhaust fan, clean toilet with working flush and bidet. There are racks and hanging poles too. The Adjustable Hot and Cold Shower works as well and came with steady strong water pressure. A considerable sized vanity mirror is installed complementing the lavatory. We are thankful that the Wifi Signal transcends through our room. We get to do accomplish online productivity while enjoying the comforts of our room. Overall, there is enough room space for our luggages and legroom for us to comfortably navigate around the room.

MEAL SERVICE

The resort is currently working on their curated final menu. While at this status, guests can arrange their meal preference at the Front Office. On the 4 days we stayed here, we get to try their best offerings. I can never forget the exquisite Buttered Crabs, the heavenly Pancit Bihon, the large Garlic Shrimps, their premium breakfast set inclusive of sausage, dried fish, sunny side up and fresh cucumber plus tomato slices, the flavor Adobo and the divine Sinigang. We have a dedicated wait service as well during our dining and we really felt that curated experience and utmost attention.

BEACH ACCESS

After passing through their gated property, you would easily notice and compare their stretch of shore from the neighboring ones. The resort management made sure that shoreline is well-maintained. I saw early morning or in the afternoon that. a resort staff would sweep, scrape and level the sand – add this up to your premium beach resort experience in a far flung town. Located on this area are the shaded table and chair setup for day only guests.

The beach features a low receding shore with fine sand underneath the waves. The sand is of characteristic brown color and with finer texture. On our third day, we are blessed with calmer waters and able to experience finally and officially the salt water.

Additionally, they have a mini volleyball court setup where you can try your power spikes and defensive blocks.

OTHER ROOM ACCOMMODATIONS

The Sole Fan Room features private toilet and bath, small dining table setup and. a ceiling fan for your ventilation. This room can comfortably up to 2 guests. This room has direct access to balcony right above the restaurant.

The Single Bed Air-Conditioned Room Tower (Php5,000 per night) features a more intimate spaced unit but with a larger balcony space. This room can comfortably house 3 guests. It also has its own private toilet and bath.

The Air-conditioned Two-Beds Room Category (Php5,000 per night) differs with their coordinated design accents and branding. Each enjoys its own private toilet and bath, a Flat Screen TV, Sofa Bed and Balcony Access.These rooms can comfortably fit up to 4 guests.

The Unique Diamond Room or the Multiple Bunk Bed Room (Php25,000) features three levels of installed bunk beds that can fit comfortably up to 25 pax. There are four columns of three level twin size bunk beds and features. a full sofa set and dining set. There are two rest rooms dedicated for the guest size.

The One Bedroom Suite (Php8,000) features a spacious unit with bigger dining table setup. It also has its bigger dining table and a separate sofa bed. It also a spacious private toilet and bath. This room can comfortably fit maximum of 5 guests.
