A week long celebration in the capital city of Pampanga – City of San Fernando, the 18th Sinukwan Festival – brings festive spirit across its streets as the city prepares itself to another major event – the Giant Lantern Festival.
As one of the major segment of the celebration, the Street Dance Level 2 competition is truly the liveliest and colorful part of the festival.
The Street Dance parade assembled in front of the Pampanga Capitol Building where the Opening Ceremonies are spearheaded by the Sinukwan Festival Chairperson Michelle Ong and Mayor Edwin “EdSa” Santiago.
As lively music started playing, the supportive crowd started cheering and hands started flying in the air with colourful and sparkling accessories and costume details.
From the capitol grounds, they danced their way to Consunji Street until they reached the performance area in front of the City Hall and gave another best shot of their presentation. Truly, these young people have sheer talent.
The contest ended in Robinson Starmills Pampanga.
